CTAC 2022 Highlights and a Look Forward into 2023

Happy New Year! The sun has set on another year. 2022 was quite a year for the CTAC program.  In 2022 we shifted from developing our program to implementing services for our program. It’s amazing to think of how much we have grown in the past 2 years.  We continued to build our outreach throughout the state with businesses and partners to continue to spread the word about the CTAC program. We traveled to multiple areas throughout the state to conduct presentations and meet with companies; in addition, we hosted and co-hosted multiple webinars and seminars. Our most exciting accomplishment of the year was the launch of our CTAC app. If you have not downloaded the app yet, please do so. The app has different permission levels based on the user. We have 3 user levels: one specifically designed for our clients to include requesting reports to work with other CTAC companies as well as access to all coastal projects available in the state; one designed for our partner organizations to be able to have access to coastal news and events as well as the ability to request a presentation; and, the last level is for a general user to learn more about CTAC with the ability to sign up to become a client.   Be on the lookout for additional details of the progress that was made in 2022 in our upcoming annual report which will be available soon.

In looking at 2023, there are many new things we are looking to launch. We will continue to develop components of our CTAC app to assure that our users have instant access to anything and everything coastal happening in our state. Some of our main goals for 2023 will include: CTAC Client Spotlights, hosting a Matchmaking Event for our construction services clients, beginning the development of a CTAC Certification Curriculum for CTAC clients, developing and implementing CTAC Instructional/Resource Videos, and continuing to develop and implement Workforce Development Solutions in the coastal/water management sector. We are excited about the many things to come as our program continues to grow. We thank you for your support and we look forward to working with each and every one of you in 2023!
