Pathway to Assist Veteran Entrepreneurs (PAVE) is a collaborative initiative involving Louisiana Economic Development, the Louisiana Small Business Development Center Network, the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Louisiana National Guard. This program equips Louisiana veterans with essential knowledge and skills to effectively start or manage a business.
PAVE begins with three self-paced online courses available 24/7. After completing these courses, veterans can register to participate in a virtual boot camp, in which instructors help analyze the feasibility of their business plans and introduce them to various business resources, including tools tailored specifically for veteran-owned businesses. After boot camp is completed, veterans are paired with a consultant for long-term business support.
PAVE is open to active-duty personnel, reservists in good standing and veterans discharged under conditions other than dishonorable. The next boot camp is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, at 9 a.m.
